The Application and Working Principle of Waste Heat Boilers

The principle of biomass boilers mainly covers aspects such as fuel supply, combustion process, heat energy conversion and environmental protection emissions.

Biomass boilers use biomass as fuel, such as crop straw and wood chips. These fuels are sent into the furnace top bunker through the feeder and then evenly fed into the furnace by the screw feeder. In the furnace, the fuel is gradually preheated, dried, ignited and combusted under the action of high-temperature flue gas and primary air.

During the combustion process, a large amount of volatile matter in the biomass fuel is separated out, the combustion is intense, and the generated high-temperature flue gas scours the main heating surfaces of the boiler. These flue gases then enter the economizer and air preheater at the tail of the boiler to further utilize the heat energy and improve the boiler efficiency.

Biomass boilers are also equipped with an automatic ash cleaning device, which can timely remove the ash accumulation on the heating surface of the boiler to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the boiler. At the same time, a dust collector is arranged in the flue at the tail of the boiler to ensure that the smoke and dust emissions meet the environmental protection requirements.

Biomass boilers convert the heat energy generated by the combustion of biomass fuel into steam or hot water, which can be used for heating, heating or driving generators to generate electricity.
