Standard Operating Procedures for Automatic Boiler Water Treatment Equipment

I. Equipment Principle and Advantages Automatic boiler water treatment equipment is widely used in the chemical industry in industrial settings. It is mainly used to remove impurities from tap water. By using the process of replacing anions and cations in water with anion and cation exchange resins, it can effectively remove impurities and ensure that the quality of the effluent water meets relevant national standards. This equipment is easy to operate, has a large working exchange capacity, and has good energy – saving effects.

 II. Pre – operation Preparations

1. Water Quality Compatibility Since the equipment works based on the principle of ion exchange, it is essential to ensure that the raw water quality meets the equipment requirements. Only in this way can the equipment properly perform its function of softening water quality.

 2. Installation Location Selection The equipment should be installed in a clean and dry place. The ambient temperature should be maintained above 0°C. At the same time, it should be kept away from water vapor to prevent damage to the internal resin of the equipment or equipment failure caused by rusting of parts.

3. Equipment Inspection Before the equipment runs, comprehensively inspect and tighten all the fixing bolts on the equipment to ensure there is no looseness. Also, confirm that the outer shell of the distribution panel is grounded. If conditions permit, it is advisable to install the distribution panel separately from the equipment, and strictly connect the wires according to the wiring numbers to avoid wrong connections.

III. Key Points of Operating Operations

1. Time Relay During the operation of the equipment, it is strictly prohibited to adjust the time relay.

2. Water and Power Supply Management When the equipment is running, both water and electricity should be supplied simultaneously. When the equipment stops running, both water and electricity should be cut off simultaneously.

IV. Maintenance and Overhaul

1. Daily Maintenance During use, regularly clean and maintain the equipment to keep it clean and in a normal operating state.

2. Regular Overhaul The equipment must be overhauled regularly every year. If the equipment is out of use for more than half a month, raise the waste – water pipe above the exchange column until no more water drains. For the rotating and transmission parts of the equipment, add lubricating oil to prevent parts from rusting.

3. Handling of Special Situations If the raw water contains a large amount of sediment, sedimentation treatment should be carried out before the water enters the equipment to avoid affecting the normal operation of the equipment. When the equipment is being repaired and cleaned, be sure to cut off the power supply to ensure safe operation.
