Acceptance Of Gas-Fired Heat Transfer Oil Furnaces And Instructions On The Prohibited Use Of Pressure Gauges

For the gas-fired heat transfer oil furnace among the heat transfer oil furnaces, since it is both a boiler product on the website and one of the website’s keywords, a comprehensive understanding and knowledge is required. Moreover, it is also a commonly used type of heat transfer oil furnace. Therefore, only by being familiar with this type of boiler can we have correct applications and thereby benefit ourselves a lot.

1.Acceptance of the gas-fired heat transfer oil furnace.

For this type of heat transfer oil furnace, its acceptance work mainly includes: Firstly, when the gas-fired heat transfer oil furnace is transported to the installation site, its components should be inventoried based on the factory list of the manufacturer to check if there are any missing parts, etc. Then, based on the boiler drawings, the equipment should be rechecked, mainly for inspecting its relevant completeness. For example, for the large components of this boiler, during transportation, whether there are problems such as deformation or damage.

2.Pipeline installation of the gas-fired heat transfer oil furnace.

For the gas-fired heat transfer oil furnace, for its pipeline installation, it is mainly in reference to the stipulated requirements in the “Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Organic Heat Carrier Furnaces”, and should be carried out in reference to the product manual and its process flow chart. For the connection ports of the pipelines, except for flanges, the connection method should be welding.

Furthermore, for the pipeline layout, there should be a certain slope, generally 2% – 3%. At the high points of the pipelines, exhaust ports should be provided, and at the low points, there should be sewage outlets. For the straight pipe sections in the pipelines, if the length is over 20m, then there should also be thermal expansion joints.

3.For the pressure gauges in the gas-fired heat transfer oil furnace, in which cases are they not usable?

On the gas-fired heat transfer oil furnace, the pressure gauge is one of the important instruments. However, if some situations occur, it cannot be used continuously. Specifically speaking, they are:

Situation one: The glass on the pressure gauge is broken, or the dial scale of the pressure gauge is unclear and cannot be identified.

Situation two: The seal of the pressure gauge is damaged, or it has exceeded the inspection period. Situation three: For pressure gauges with limit pins, if there is no pressure, the pointer cannot return to the limit pin. If it is a pressure gauge without limit pins, when there is no pressure, the distance between the pointer and the zero position exceeds the allowable error range stipulated.
